We are now a two-Prius family. I bought my first Prius, a 2004 model, in December of 2003. I finally got another Prius for my wife, a very similar 2007 model, at the beginning of December 2006 . The 2004 has performed well and is fun to drive. I got both the reprogramming of the ECU and the steering wheel recall done at the same time in June 2006. I have driven over 77,000 miles in it without any problems except for a "Check Engine" light that turned out to be a loose hose clamp in the fuel system at around 60,000 miles. Now on my second set of tires, as the originals wore out evenly at 40,000 miles. Oh, and I finally got around to replacing the windshield wipers at 3 years and 77,000 miles. Thanks to Tire Rack for sending me the right size wiper after the wrong one was listed on their site!
